Elon Musk recently shared his reaction to Mark Zuckerberg's take on toxic masculinity in corporate culture, following the Meta CEO's appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE).
Rogan welcomed Zuckerberg to episode #2255 of his podcast, where the pair sat down for a near three-hour chat. During their conversation, they covered a host of topics, such as politics, MMA and technology before eventually exploring the darker side of corporate culture.
Zuckerberg offered up his take, having experienced a multitude of different working cultures throughout his career. The 40-year-old revealed that much of his attitude towards masculine culture in the workplace has been shaped by the women in his life. However, he did admit that once he started MMA training, his perspective changed. He said:
"I've been surrounded by women my whole life. The masculine energy is good. Society has plenty of that, but corporate culture is really trying to get away from it. I think having a culture that celebrates aggression a bit more has its own merits that are positive and having a thing [MMA] that I can do with my guy friends is good."

"If you're a woman going into a company, it may feel like it's too masculine and that there's systems that are set up against you...It's one thing to say we want to create a welcoming environment for everyone, and its another thing to say that masculinity is bad and its toxic and we need to get rid of it. Both of these things are good. You want masculine and feminine energy," he added.
Elon Musk then took to X to respond to Mark Zuckerberg's comments, which were posted by an account named @AutismCapital. He wrote:

Mark Zuckerberg tells Joe Rogan he hopes to compete in his first professional MMA fight in 2025
Mark Zuckerberg's knee injury and the subsequent surgery seemingly put his high-profile MMA bout against Elon Musk on hold last year.
During the same episode of the JRE, Joe Rogan asked Zuckerberg about whether or not he still wants to compete in the octagon. The Meta CEO stated that he was open to it and hopes to have a fight in 2025, however, his current schedule for the year may make it difficult. He explained:
“I want to [fight] and I think I probably will, but we’ll see. 2025 is going to be a very busy year on the AI side...I need to figure this out because I don’t know how with everything that’s going on in AI, how I’m going to have like a week or two where I can just get into this like, ‘I’m going to fight someone [mindset]’. It’s good training and I would like to [fight] at some point.”
