Brazil's Allycia Hellen Rodrigues made a statement in her return to action at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video, besting Janet Todd by unanimous decision to become the undisputed women's atomweight Muay Thai queen.
The 24-year-old hadn't stepped in the Circle since defeating Stamp Fairtex to attain the atomweight Muay Thai belt back in August 2020. After an early feeling-out process, Rodrigues really began to find her groove in the latter stages of her match against Todd.
In the end, it was Allycia Hellen Rodrigues who reigned supreme and attained undisputed world champion status.

Allycia Hellen Rodrigues thanks family and team after recent win, draws inspiration from Angela Lee
Her win at ONE Fight Night 8 was a massive moment in the striker's young career—and she made sure to thank her support system following the victory—saying:
“I feel amazing,” Rodrigues said during a post-fight interview. “I have a lot of support from my family and my team. I know if I work hard and I can come back and keep my belt with me.”
The champ added, mentioning Angela Lee:
“You know how hard it is to come back from that situation, and I am inspired by Angela Lee. I saw the way she came back and how she kept the belt with her. I want to do the same and inspire people the way Angela inspired me.”
Rodrigues took time away from competition to give birth to her first child. Seeing Angela Lee be able to become a mother and return where she left off gave the Phuket Fight Club affiliate hope that she could do the same.
Prior to her time off, Rodrigues had garnered attention from the masses due to her victory over Stamp Faritex. Her recent win over Janet Todd reminded everyone of the world-class talents that the newly-crowned undisputed champ possesses.
