After their fight didn't end with a conclusive winner, the battle between Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker is not over.
At ONE on Prime Video 3, their fight lived up to expectations put on it by the fans. Despite the fight ending in a no contest, ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade delivered on his hype with a great performance.
Though he landed the unintentional foul that ended the fight prematurely, fans were left in awe with how he dealt with an opponent as dangerous as Lineker. While he dominated the majority of the contest, Andrade still believes that he has unfinished business with the former champion after the way the fight ended.
In an interview with The MMA Superfan, ‘Wonder Boy’ praised the level of John Lineker and alluded to their potential rematch:

“So they wanna put the world championship on the line and he’s [Lineker] the guy. I’ve been saying even before the fight, even after I beat him I still think he’s the most dangerous guy in the division, I still believe he can beat Bibiano again or he can beat Stephen Loman.”

With the bantamweight championship vacant, Fabricio Andrade will seemingly be lined up to compete for the world title again after his performance at ONE on Prime Video 3.
Whilst a John Lineker rematch would seem the most obvious choice for an opponent, ONE on Prime Video 4 has a big bantamweight matchup between former champion Bibiano Fernandes and Stephen Loman.
“This division is run by Brazilians” - Fabricio Andrade feels ONE Championship wants a Brazilian titleholder
One of Brazil’s emerging superstars, ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade, believes that ONE Championship is searching for a world champion from his nation after partnering with Globo, Latin America’s largest commercial television network.
ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced the news last month in a post on Facebook:
“BREAKING NEWS: ONE just got even bigger! I am thrilled to announce that Globo is the new home of ONE in Brazil! Globo is the largest commercial television network in Latin America, with a reach of more than 200 million viewers across its free-to-air, digital, and pay TV channels.”
Fabricio Andrade spoke about the recent ONE/Globo partnership and the promotion having a Brazilian champion in the interview with The MMA Superfan:
“When ONE puts the fight on because they need a world champion and they want like, a Brazilian world champion, especially after they signed the contract with Globo in Brazil. This division is run by Brazilians. Me, Bibiano, John Lineker.”
With the bantamweight division having two Brazilian former champions and one of the promotion's best rising stars in Fabricio Andrade, it’s hard to imagine the division without a Brazilian champion at some point in the near future.
