Former UFC champion Rafael dos Anjos offered to fight the returning Donald Cerrone for a third time.
Earlier this week, Cerrone made headlines in the MMA community by revealing he's re-entered the USADA drug-testing pool. The 41-year-old plans to return to the UFC next year after previously announcing his retirement.
Cerrone talked about his return during the 'Pacman Jones Show,' leading to the following quote transcribed by MMA Junkie on Instagram:
"I just re-entered the testing pool. I have to be six months clean. Probably June, July we will make the comeback."

Donald Cerrone needs an opponent for his octagon return, assuming the UFC wants to bring him back. Former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, a former rival of Conor McGregor, had this to say in the Instagram comment section:
"Trilogy @cowboycerrone ??"
Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone have previously fought twice in the UFC. They first met inside the octagon in August 2013, with dos Anjos emerging victorious by unanimous decision.
Two years later, they fought for a second time, following Cerrone's eight-fight winning streak. The rematch featured dos Anjos winning by first-round knockout to defend his lightweight world title in the UFC on FOX 17 main event.
In December 2020, Cerrone and Dos Anjos competed in a submission grappling match at Submission Underground 19. Cerrone walked away with partial revenge after defeating dos Anjos with an armbar.
Donald Cerrone looks for first MMA win since 2019
Donald Cerrone's legacy has been solidified as an all-time fan favorite. 'Cowboy' is also featured several times in the UFC record books - third in total fights (38), tied second for wins (23), third in finishes (16), and second for fight night bonuses (18).
Unfortunately for Cerrone, the last chapter of his fighting career hasn't been positive. His last win was a unanimous decision against Al Iaquinta in a May 2019 main event.
Since then, Cerrone suffered six losses and one no-contest against Niko Price (originally scored a draw). He plans to turn things around in the octagon when he returns in 2025 for at least two fights.
