In a conversation with Daniel Cormier on his YouTube channel, Askren opined that Jiri Prochazka is being targeted, and as 'DC' cracked up, he provided three possible explanations for it:
"Number-one, he's dirty and they know he's dirty but they can't figure out how to catch him... It seems that 'The Czech Samurai' dislocated his shoulder during one of the training sessions leading up to the UFC 282 event. Prochazka made the error of allowing his sparring partner to take his back and follow up with a suplex move.
While recently speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Jiri Prochazka was asked about how the injury occurred. 'Denisa' iterated:
“Everything was light, nobody did anything wrong, but I made some mistakes. I let the guy take my back. He did a suplex right on my shoulder. And that was that... That's life... The shoulder was out, and one guy, he put me on that shoulder back, one of the Russian guys from Ankalaev’s team. And after that, we went to the hospital."
