Former UFC champion, Fabricio Werdum, expressed his dismay after witnessing the devastation by a massive fire in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The fire also left the famous Sunset Boulevard in ruins.
The fire recently engulfed major parts of the Pacific Palisades and Eaton neighborhoods of Los Angeles causing large-scale destruction. It also wreaked havoc on the famous Sunset Boulevard. Werdum shared his distress at the dreaded incident by sharing a reel by @abc7tony as his Instagram story. It showcased the ruins of several houses and other properties in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Werdum's UFC career consists of fourteen fights where he boasts a record of 10-4, with an overall pro-MMA career record of 24-10-1(1). Werdum defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 180 to win the interim UFC heavyweight championship. He then unified it successfully against Cain Velasquez at UFC 188 before getting dethroned by Stipe Miocic at UFC 198.
UFC head honcho Dana White has intended to help in tackling the LA fire
The recent Los Angeles fire affected the homes of several celebrities as well, including Billy Crystal, Jeff Bridges, Paris Hilton, and others. While another portion of noted personalities have come up to the relief of the ones affected.
The UFC head honcho, Dana White, was also pained by the destruction caused by the recent fires. However, instead of lamenting about the situation, he appreciated the combined response of multiple US fire departments to tackle the situation along with intending to help in whichever way possible.
White shared an update from @clarkcountyfirefighters as his Instagram story to appreciate their response. The words in it mentioned that he had already talked to the Governor of Nevada, Joe Lombardo, about the dreaded situation. White also intended to do whatever was possible from his and the UFC's end. He penned:
"Love this!!! Already called @joelombardonv. Much respect to all the first responders from Nevada and California. ANYTHING you need from me or @ufc. We got you!"
