Former UFC fighter Jake Shields has called out the streaming platform Spotify, after a recent episode of his podcast that featured a debate about the Holocaust was removed.

After hanging up his MMA gloves in 2018, Shields has since turned his attention to coaching as well as hosting the Fight Back Podcast. The weekly show regularly features guests from the MMA space, such as fighters on the current UFC roster, as well as a mix of people from a variety of professions.

Recently, during episode 33 of the podcast, Shields welcomed historian Michael G. Vann and convicted Holocaust denier Germar Rudolf to the show. The episode featured a highly controversial debate about the Holocaust and the Nazi regime, which has since been removed from YouTube and Spotify by the platforms.

Jake Shields later took to X to react to the situation, where he stated that the streaming service Rumble is the only one not to have removed the episode. He also noted that following the recording of the podcast, Rudolf was once again arrested for his views. He tweeted:

"Spotify isn't a free speech platform and removed my Holocaust debate I believe Rumble is the only platform that hasn't taken it down. It is so well-documented that they won't allow historians to debate it Germar Rudolf who appeared in the debate has already survived 4 years in prison for having the wrong opinions and was arrested right after the debate."

Sean O'Malley wants to see Conor McGregor win on his UFC return

Despite recently trading blows on social media with Conor McGregor, Sean O'Malley wants the Irishman to have a successful return to the octagon.

While nothing has yet been confirmed, 'The Notorious' is expected to make his return to MMA in 2025. He had been set to face Michael Chandler earlier this year, however, a mix of injuries and legal issues have delayed McGregor's comeback.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Fight Back Podcast, 'Suga' weighed in on McGregor's future and admitted he wants to see him win his comeback fight and return as the face of the sport. He said:

"I wanna see Conor come back and win. I wanna see him come back and just f*cking sleep someone and just be that Conor again so bad."
