Jiri Prochazka, known for his unorthodox fighting style, secured a TKO victory over Jamahal Hill in the third round at UFC 311 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
Ex-UFC star Derek Brunson reacted to Prochazka's unconventional striking with a humorous movie reference. Taking to X, Brunson compared the Czech fighter's chaotic and unpredictable style to Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights, writing:
"Jiří Procházka has that Talladega Nights: Ricky Bobby style of fighting."

Both Prochazka and Hill entered their UFC 311 clash following knockout losses to reigning light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. The highly anticipated fight delivered an all-out war, with Prochazka earning a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his victory.
Prochazka landed a powerful left hand that dropped Hill in the first round. Hill found some success in the second round, landing effective body shots and uppercuts. However, the round was briefly paused due to mutual eye pokes from both fighters.
In the decisive third round, Prochazka dropped 'Sweet Dreams' with a devastating right hand and followed up with relentless ground-and-pound, securing a TKO victory.
Jiri Prochazka expresses desire for trilogy fight with Alex Pereira following UFC 311 victory
Jiri Prochazka has only lost twice in his UFC career, both times to Alex Pereira. In their first encounter at UFC 295, the Brazilian star secured a second-round KO/TKO victory with elbows. The second fight at UFC 303 ended in round two with a head kick knockout.
Following his victory over Jamahal Hill, Prochazka expressed his desire to fight Pereira in a trilogy bout. Prochazka said:
"We drill these combos, these shots, a lot—many times, many times. I took this fight more seriously than ever before. Every fight I’ve fought, but I’m very happy with this performance. Like I said many times in the media before—you may not believe me—but I want a third fight with Alex Pereira."
