Tyson Fury made his return to the boxing ring last weekend as he unsuccessfully challenged Oleksandr Usyk for his WBA, WBC, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles, losing the bout via unanimous decision.
It marked the second consecutive defeat for 'The Gypsy King' as he previously lost to 'The Cat' when the two clashed for the undisputed heavyweight title in May 2024.
Former UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson recently shared a photo of Fury getting his hands wrapped before the bout. 'The One' took to X on Sunday night, captioning the post:
"How my Christmas 🎄 gifts look when I wrap them 😂 😂 😂"

Fury's attire - more specifically, his shorts - received plenty of attention from the onset of the high-profile fight. Fans noted that he was wearing his shorts unusually high, with many suggesting that there should be rules against doing so.
It capped off what was a seemingly bizarre fight week as 'The Gypsy King' revealed that he did not speak to his family for three months leading up to the rematch, claiming that he stayed away to remain focused during training camp. His efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, however, as he suffered the second loss of his career.

Oleksandr Usyk proved that his victory against Tyson Fury was no fluke as he was able to get his hand raised in the rematch, winning the bout via unanimous decision. He showed respect to his opponent after the bout, showering 'The Gypsy King' with praise.
Speaking at his post-fight press conference, 'The Cat' stated:
"Tyson is my best friend. Yeah. I really respect this guy. Tyson Fury makes me strong. Tyson is a great opponent. He's a big man, he's a tough boxer, he's a good man. A lot of talk, yeah? It's just for show. I really respect Tyson Fury."

While Fury has criticized the referees' decision in the bout, his opponent still holds the former WBC heavyweight champion in high regard. It remains unclear what will come next for both fighters, however, Usyk appears likely to face IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois in his next appearance. Meanwhile, there has been speculation that 'The Gypsy King' and Anthony Joshua could finally share the ring.
