A former UFC star recently captioned a recent photo of Donald Trump and Barack Obama. Despite their political differences, Trump and Obama were seen sharing a lighthearted moment in the snap.
The current US President-elect, Trump, has never been in a direct contest with Obama despite being the one to overthrow the Democrats in the 2016 US Presidential Elections. He repeated this feat once more with a victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 US Presidential Elections.
The meeting between Trump and Obama happened at the funeral of the 39th US President, Jimmy Carter. Several snaps from their meeting went viral, which showcased that the two had a good chit-chat during their meetup.
The former UFC middleweight, Derek Brunson, recently posted a snap from the Trump-Obama meetup to his X account. He captioned the image while also asking his followers to provide their own. Brunson penned:

"And they were losing friends over us 😂"
The 24-9 record-holding former UFC middleweight's caption highlighted how commoners often lose their friends because of having different political views, while the top faces of the two opposing parties in the US enjoy lighthearted moments during their meetups.
Donald Trump might be interested in appearing in a chat session with Adin Ross
The Kick streamer and online personality, Adin Ross, detailed what happened during his meetup with Donald Trump at one of the recent UFC pay-per-views. Ross was not sure about which UFC event it was, but he remembered Trump's words vividly.
Apart from quoting Trump's appreciative words for him, Ross's comments indicated that the current US President-elect might be interested in a chat session with him just like he has appeared on the platforms of several notable podcasts including the Joe Rogan Experience. Ross said:
"It was so funny how he walked in... he walks up to me as the President and he said, 'Good job! You know, look at you!', and he's like, 'Next one, White House. White House!'"
