Mike Perry, the former UFC fighter turned bare-knuckle boxer, has vowed to unleash a brutal assault on Jake Paul when they clash in the boxing ring this Saturday. Despite being at a little weight disadvantage, Perry is brimming with confidence and has promised to get dirty in the fight.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Perry expressed his eagerness to face Paul, stating:
"This has been a long time coming... My boxing record doesn't showcase what I'm capable of. Jake did all the hard work for me, building up his boxing record... I'm capable of performing and competing in a way that others just aren't ready for, no matter their skill level."

The brash fighter, known for his aggressive fighting style, made it clear that he intends to use his natural power to overpower Paul:

"I have something that I was born with. Even with gloves on, I plan to hit Jake really hard, as if it were bare-knuckle. I'm still trying to stick his teeth through my fist."
The two are set to clash on July 20 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Mike Perry is questioning Jake Paul's willingness to compete in a bare-knuckle fight
Jake Paul has expressed interest in participating in an MMA or bare-knuckle fight after his boxing match with Mike Perry. However, the former UFC fighter doubts the YouTuber-turned-boxer's sincerity. Perry believes that Paul is unlikely to follow through with his claims of stepping into the bare-knuckle ring.
The 'Platinum' fighter expressed his doubts in an interview with MMA Fighting, suggesting that Paul's interest in bare-knuckle boxing is merely a facade.
"One thing I want to remind Jake over and over again is that he wouldn't do a bare-knuckle fight. Whether he says he would or not, especially after this fight in 10-ounce gloves."
He added:
"He wants to bring it up like 'boxing is this incredible sport and these hooligans are out there doing this bare-knuckle stuff' and blah, blah, blah. I'm going to beat him with 10-ounce gloves on. He definitely won't want to do bare-knuckle after that."
