Legends always recognize greatness, and that's what Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida did when he witnessed twins Tye and Kade Ruotolo in Las Vegas.

The 17-time BJJ world champion is arguably the greatest submission artist of all time, and 'Buchecha' witnessed pure class and domination when Kade swept the filed in the -80kg division at the Craig Jones Invitational.

Kade, the ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion, went a perfect 4-0 in the tournament and took down Matheus Diniz, Tommy Langaker, Andrew Tackett, and Levi Jones-Leary to capture the $1 million prize.

Commenting on the Ruotolo brothers' Instagram account, 'Buchecha' wrote:

"Yeahhh boyzzzz, fucking awesome, congrats both of you!"

Tye, the ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion, had a solid start to the tournament when he beat Jason Nolf in the opening round. He fell in his next match against Jones-Leary, though, after suffering an injury during the contest.

Nevertheless, Kade avenged his twin brother when he outclassed Jones-Leart in the tournament final.

Kade Ruotolo now turns his attention to Colorado when he defends his ONE lightweight submission grappling world title against Mikey Musumeci, the ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion, at ONE 168: Denver.

The grappling super fight between Kade and Musumeci goes down at Ball Arena on September 6.

Tickets for ONE 168 are available at Ticketmaster.

Kade Ruotolo determined to submit Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168

Kade Ruotolo has a singular plan in mind when he finally faces Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168, and it's to secure that all-important submission win. Musumeci and Kade are considered two of the best submission grapplers of the current era, and their Denver world title matchup ticks all the boxes for what a super fight should be.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Kade said he'll be in the fight of his life and laid out what he plans to do against 'Darth Rigatoni' in September.

"There’s no secret at this point in time. I think everybody already knows what my brother (Tye Ruotolo) and I wanna do – takedown, pass and submit. I feel like a broken record. I hate to be boring or whatever, but that really is always our strategy. That’s always our game plan. It’s no secret. So you know the drill."
