Jon Jones squared off against Quinton Jackson at UFC 135 and won the bout via submission in round four. Post-fight, Jones told the media that he had nightmares about Jackson knocking him out and was terrified of him before the fight.

Recently, the reigning heavyweight champ's brother, Chandler Jones, appeared on the JAXXON podcast, hosted by 'Rampage' Jackson. The American football player revealed that he and his brother are both fans of Jackson, saying:

"I’m Jon's little brother so I know who he fanboys over and before you all fight, he couldn’t sleep…I don’t give a f*ck who he fought, bigger name, whatever…he could not sleep. We've all been a fan of you [Jackson] before him [Jones].”

Quinton Jackson wants a rematch with Jon Jones

Jon Jones submitted Quinton Jackson in the light heavyweight title fight at UFC 135. Jones won the bout with a rare-naked choke in the opening minutes of round four.

Years later, Jackson, who appeared on the Pound 4 Pound podcast with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, stated that he did not take the fight seriously at the time. He also alluded to there being many eye pokes during the bout, which were missed by the referee.

On a desire for a rematch, he said:

"I wanna get Jon Jones back because I think Jon Jones is the best fighter in the world. And when I fought him, I did not know he was the best fighter in the world. At that point in my career, I had never lost a fight, with me being in really good shape. I was like, 'Oh, this kid ain’t going to beat me.' If I fought him again, I would probably come out in swim goggles.”

Jackson defeated Fabio Maldonado by unanimous decision at UFC 186. He left the company in 2016 and went to Bellator MMA. In 2019, he competed in the final bout of his Bellator contract before becoming a free agent.
