Paddy Pimblett has spoken out against British politicians and Members of Parliament on a number of occasions in his short UFC career to date.
Several months ago, Pimblett took aim at the Prime Minister, highlighting the increasing number of people needing foodbanks in order to survive. More recently, 'The Baddy' criticized British politician Matt Hancock, who served as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care from 2018 to 2021.
Paddy Pimblett was recently interviewed by British news outlet JOE. During it, the Liverpool native discussed the cost of living crisis going on in the UK. Hancock's recent appearance on reality TV show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was brought up, and 'The Baddy' said the following:

Being from a working-class city like Liverpool, 'The Baddy' is all too familiar with the struggles that blue-collar communities are facing. Several months ago, during Paddy Pimblett's pre-fight press conference for UFC London, he said the following about now-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak:
"You've got this Sunak saying that he wants to 'sort the country out'. Lad you were the one who was in charge of all that, you little divvy."

Paddy Pimblett claims his fight at UFC 282 is "the people's main event"
Paddy Pimblett is set to face his toughest opponent to date when he takes on Jared Gordon at UFC 282.
'The Baddy' will be hoping to extend his five-fight win streak, and Gordon will look to put a halt to the Scouser's rise. The fight has been bumped up to the co-main event due to Jiri Prochazka's injury.
According to Pimblett, the change hasn't forced any adjustment to his mental preparation at all. The surging lightweight was recently interviewed by Nick Peet of BT Sport, during which he claimed to be the reason why people are coming to UFC 282:
"I was the people's main event anyway lad. People were buying tickets for this and they're gonna buy pay-per-views 'cause of me anyway. It's as simple as that. I reckon the arena will empty out after I fight. It'll only be the hardcore [fans] that stay."
