'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade has been living the dream as a fighter on the ONE Championship roster. The talented Brazilian striker explained his lifelong dream in a recent interview with the organization.

While speaking to ONE, he said:

"I come from a very poor area, in the northeast of Brazil. I started training when I was 13. I always knew that I would fight for ONE, but it took a long time for that to happen. Five years, I was trying to get in here."

The 25-year-old fighter was nearly a world champion in ONE's competitive bantamweight division late last year. However, an unfortunate accidental groin strike ended his first match against John Lineker in a no contest.

Fabricio Andrade and 'Hands of Stone' will soon battle for the vacant bantamweight throne once again. The world championship rematch between the Brazilians is booked for ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, which will go down on February 24 at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium.

All the action will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.

Fabricio Andrade likes the pressure of a world title match

Some fighters would struggle under the pressure of fighting a dangerous MMA veteran such as John Lineker, or even struggle to compete in the main event position with a world title on the line. However, Fabricio Andrade lives for this.

While speaking to SCMP MMA, he discussed how much he enjoys the pressure of fighting under the brightest lights with the highest stakes:

"I like this pressure, it gives me more motivation to keep training and look for results. What I like to do to relax is all about fighting ... But I'm enjoying the pressure this fight is bringing. It's a big fight, everyone is waiting for it."

Additionally, the 25-year-old Brazilian striker offered his prediction for his rematch with Lineker:

“This fight will end in a maximum of two rounds. And it will definitely end with me knocking out John Lineker one more time ... He knows I’m better than him. His chance of winning this fight is if something extraordinary happens. But we know that I’m the best athlete, that this is my moment, and that I’m going to be the champion.”
