Fabricio Andrade (Left) faces John Lineker (Right) in a rematch at ONE Fight Night 7

Ahead of his rematch with John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Fabricio Andrade is extremely confident that he will get the job done.

He comes into the rematch with somewhat of a psychological edge after the way their first fight played out at ONE on Prime Video 3.

Andrade’s performance may not have seen him win the bantamweight world championship due to the fight ending in a no contest, but he did prove that with his skillset, he can dominate the fight against the former champion.

The big questions going into their rematch surround how John Lineker will approach the fight and make adjustments because everyone saw in the first fight the success that Andrade had before the fight was stopped due to an unintentional low blow.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Fabricio ‘Wonder Boy’ Andrade said that he expects Lineker to make some adjustments in their rematch but they will not influence the outcome:

“He will definitely prepare more now that he knows how good I am. But I believe this will not make a difference.”

If Andrade is able to replicate his performance the second time around, it’s hard to argue that he won’t leave the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand as the new holder of the bantamweight world championship.

ONE Fight Night 7 is live and free in North America via Prime Video.

Fabricio Andrade says fighting in the famed Lumpinee boxing ring is ‘going to be exciting’

One aspect of the rematch between John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade that we know will be different this time around is the actual stage they’re competing on. ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video on February 24 will be hosted at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Whilst John Lineker has gained experience competing all over the world thanks to making his name in the United States, Fabricio Andrade believes that he will have the support of the fans in the arena on fight night.

Living and training out of Thailand gives this fight somewhat of a home advantage for ‘Wonder Boy’ and he is excited to perform at this venue for the very first time and in front of his own fans.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post on YouTube, Fabricio Andrade commented on not only having the opportunity to fight in this iconic combat sports venue but also spoke about the change in the physical environment:

“Yeah, it's my first time fighting there. My first fight in Bangkok was in Impact Arena. But yeah, it's exciting. Fighting in the ring as well. I think that's more exciting though. It wasn't a cage in Lumpinee, it's a bit different, but in a ring, it's cool, it's going to be exciting.”
