Fabricio Andrade believes his hard work will create positive results in his fighting career.
‘Wonder Boy’ wasn’t always a rising superstar fighting for ONE Championship’s bantamweight world title. He started his pro-MMA career with a 1-2 record before securing two wins and signing with ONE. Since then, the Brazilian has continued to evolve, leading to five wins and one no-contest in the Asia-based promotion.
During an interview with ONE, Andrade had this to say about his hard work leading to success:
“If you believe in your heart, do what has to be done, because at some point things will work out. We plant today to harvest tomorrow.”

After winning his first five fights in ONE Championship, Andrade earned a bantamweight title shot against John Lineker. ‘Wonder Boy’ began taking over the bout at ONE on Prime Video 3 before an unintentional groin shot led to a no-contest. Heading into their rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24, the rising superstar feels that he proved he's superior to Lineker.
Fabricio Andrade thinks he’s already proved to be a better fighter than John Lineker
John Lineker dominated the ONE bantamweight division before Fabricio Andrade earned a title shot. Lineker had his moments in their first fight, but the former world champion seemed to be fading as ‘Wonder Boy’ continued landing clean strikes.
During an interview with ONE, Andrade had this to say about fighting ‘Hands of Stone’ again:
“I already proved that I’m the better fighter but this time he just won’t be able to get any advantage over me you know. I’m gonna control the whole fight until he’s over, until he’s done and he can’t keep going.”
Lineker vs. Andrade 2 will headline ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, which goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. In the co-main event, Tawanchai PK.Saenchai is looking to defend his featherweight Muay Thai world championship for the first time against Jamal Yusupov.
