Fabricio Andrade went nearly all the way to winning the ONE bantamweight world title in his first showdown with Lineker before he accidentally struck him in the groin late in the third round. It eventually led to the fight being ruled a no-contest as Lineker was unable to continue.

For the rematch, Andrade and his team continued to build on the positives they saw from last time in training while also addressing loopholes in their game plan to round out their thrust.

In an interview with Bonjour Sports, Andrade provided an idea of what his training was like:

“I think yoga is really good. I really stretch a lot and I try to do some hot yoga especially now at the end of preparation but my training is really hard. I do a lot of Muay Thai, wrestling, strength and conditioning so it’s gonna be like, everything is gonna be so organized and you feel like you can do everything through the week, and every training is so intense.”

Andrade is looking to redeem himself after he blew a golden opportunity to win it all in his first title encounter with Lineker back in October after he accidentally struck his opponent with a knee in the groin in the third round that forced the match to end in a no-contest.

Prior to the unfortunate outcome, 'Wonder Boy' was in his element, puzzling and giving his opponent a beatdown with his energetic activity and effective striking.
