ONE bantamweight Fabricio Andrade is on the cusp of superstardom, but he must first finish the job against John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
The 25-year-old nearly attained bantamweight gold in his first meeting with Lineker, but an illegal groin strike halted his aspirations—until now.
Fabricio Andrade has another chance to defeat 'Hands of Stone' and become a world champion. He's looking forward to closing this chapter of his career, telling SCMP MMA:
"It is what it is, you can’t change the past. So you can't keep thinking about it. I was not happy with my performance. But now I got a chance to fight him again. And perform well, perform the way I want to perform. I'm actually happy that now we're going to fight again, and I have a chance to do everything differently."

Fabricio Andrade already eyeing opponent for first title defense
Never lacking confidence, 'Wonder Boy' is already looking at opponents for his first title defense if he's able to defeat Lineker. He has a particular name in mind, revealing to the South China Morning Post:
"I got a lot of goals. But first I want to win the belt and I want to defend [it]. So we already got Loman there. So after the fight, I'm going to talk with ONE. We're going to sit and we're going to see when we can fight Loman."
Stephen Loman is currently the No. 3 ranked bantamweight, who's fresh off a victory over former long-time champ Bibiano Fernandes. Prior to that, 'The Sniper' defeated Yusup Saadulaev and Shoko Sato.
Loman is the only fighter in the bantamweight top five who is coming off of a victory and who Andrade hasn't yet faced. Regardless of who claims the vacant bantamweight belt, Loman is likely next in line to challenge the winner.
Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 to watch the much-anticipated bantamweight title rematch between Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
