Fabricio Andrade has predicted the outcome of Stephen Loman vs. Bibiano Fernandes.

Andrade was on his way to becoming the ONE bantamweight world champion before a knee to John Lineker’s groin led to a no-contest. Although ‘Wonder Boy’ has to wait until February for another shot at the division’s crown, the Brazilian rising superstar is keeping a close eye on the other bantamweight contenders. While speaking with The MMA Super-Fan, the 25-year-old had this to say about Loman vs. Fernandes:

“I think it’s a great fight, it’s a great matchup but I am picking Stephen Loman to win that one just because he’s more fresh. He’s hungry, he’s still young, he was an ex Brave champion so and he’s showed his game against Shoko Sato.”

At ONE on Prime Video 4, former ONE bantamweight world champion Fernandes looks to bounce back after losing the strap to Lineker. Getting back to a world championship fight is easier said than done, considering Loman is a surging contender fighting out of the legendary Team Lakay. ‘The Sniper’ vs. ‘The Flash’ is free to watch on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.

Fabricio Andrade plans to make John Lineker rematch his best performance yet

John Lineker vs. Fabricio Andrade 2 is officially scheduled for February. The rematch was clearly the fight to make, but there were concerns about Lineker's ability to heal before the fight in early 2023. During an interview with SCMP MMA, Andrade vowed to have his best performance yet in the rematch against Lineker by saying:

“For the fans, just keep waiting because this will be my best performance ever. I have everything planned out and I will prepare very well. I already know everything he can do and I’ll make it look easy."

Andrade has an opportunity to become the next ONE Championship superstar. ‘Wonder Boy’ joined the promotion with a 3-2 record before separating himself from the rest with five consecutive wins, including three first-round finishes. If the Brazilian can take out Lineker in February, there will be discussions about the 25-year-old being the best bantamweight on the planet.
