Bantamweight star Fabricio Andrade has looked back on the first knee he landed that nearly secured him the world title last October.

Andrade hit a knee to the abdomen that looked to have knocked the air out of John Lineker. 'Wonder Boy' proceeded to move forward to try and finish the job, but unfortunately landed on the wrong target.

While the first knee looked like the beginning of the end for Lineker, the former world champion claimed that he was ready to take down Andrade if he wasn't hit by the subsequent shot to the groin.

Andrade was quick to dismiss his rival's claims as he is confident that he was about to finish the fight, telling reporters during his pre-fight presser:

"Man, after the first knee that I hit him with, he was over. He was throwing up. Like he got kicked out and started to throw up. And it was literally his stomach. His ribs or something were hurt. He was not coming back from that. I'm pretty sure I was going to knock him out. But, as I said, the guy is talking nonsense."

Fabricio Andrade rode a five-fight win streak into his first world title bout, which included three straight opening-round stoppage victories. He and Lineker will run it back for the vacant belt at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.

Fabricio Andrade says John Lineker "doesn't believe he can win this fight"

Andrade was incredibly confident heading into his first meeting with Lineker — and he's equally confident this time around.

He told reporters that he believes Lineker doesn't even think he can beat him, stating:

"He knows I'm a dangerous fighter. I don't believe he thinks he can win this fight. You know, if he thinks that, I don't know. He's delusional, but he's still going to show up. He's still going to fight. He's a fighter. I'm a fighter, and we got to do what we do. It's our job, so we have to fight."

The 25-year-old is looking like a bonafide superstar, mostly due to his lights-out performances inside the circle. He didn't even need a full round to take out Li Kai Wen, Jeremy Pacatiw, and Kwon Won Il.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 to see Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker rematch for the vacant bantamweight world title, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

All the action will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.
