During the build-up of their ONE bantamweight MMA world title fight on Jan. 24 at ONE 170, No. 3-ranked challenger Kwon Won Il has been talking smack against the defending world champion Fabricio Andrade.
However, the division's unquestioned king doesn't want to pay attention to these tactics by the South Korean MMA star.
Instead, Fabricio Andrade wants to keep his mouth shut and let his skills do the talking on fight night.
'Wonder Boy' explained this during his recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA by stating:

"I've seen that. I've seen that he's been talking a lot. But I don't know if he's serious or he's just trying to promote the fight. But I don't have much trash talk to get back to him. I'm just going to stay humble."
One primary reason the Brazilian MMA dynamo doesn't want to talk back against 'Pretty Boy' is that he defeated him by knockout during their first meeting in June 2022 at ONE 158.
Fabricio Andrade isn't impressed by the slight improvement in Kwon Won Il's game
In another recent interview, the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai representative has assessed the slight improvement in Kwon's game, particularly the refinement in his striking arsenal, as he currently rides a three-fight win streak that is all finishes.
However, Fabricio Andrade is still not sold by this and points out that he has not seen a significant upgrade in his overall skill set, as he discussed:
"He has improved considerably. He has shown in his last performances a slight improvement in his striking game. Nothing much different, his game remains the same. He is very good at boxing, but he hasn't changed much."
ONE 170 will be available via watch.onefc.com. The exciting event will take place on Friday, January 24, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
