Fabricio Andrade (Left) believes he will face Stephen Loman (Right) after winning the world championship

Fabricio Andrade has had a lot of time on his hands to think about what he will do as the ONE bantamweight world champion.

At ONE on Prime Video 3, ‘Wonder Boy’ faced John Lineker for the vacant world championship and was on his way to being crowned as its holder until an unintentional low blow caused an end to the fight with a no contest verdict.

At ONE FIght Night 7 on Prime Video, Andrade will once again face Lineker with an opportunity to correct his mistakes from their first meeting and win the vacant title.

In the meantime, Fabricio Andrade has been planning ahead and choosing what his first steps will be if he becomes the bantamweight world champion.

In an interview with SCMP MMA, ‘Wonder Boy’ said:

"I got a lot of goals. But first I want to win the belt and I want to defend [it]. So we already got [Stephen] Loman there. So after the fight, I'm going to talk with ONE. We're going to sit and we're going to see when we can fight Loman."

Fabricio Andrade says he’s got the mindset of a world champion heading into John Lineker rematch

Ever since his first fight with John Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade has been calling himself the uncrowned champion of the bantamweight division.

Since debuting in ONE Championship, ‘Wonder Boy’ has put together a great run inside the circle, producing five wins in a row to earn himself a shot against John Lineker.

His no contest against John Lineker is the only blemish on his professional record. At ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Andrade gets the chance to put this right and win what he believes is rightfully his.

One of the key differences that he believes will make the difference in this fight compared to his previous appearances inside the circle is his mindset. Fabricio Andrade thinks he is already the best fighter in the division and that his performance against Lineker the first time around proved that.

He wrote on Instagram:

"In my previous fights you saw a hungry fighter that wants to be the champion, this fight you gonna see the champion defending his throne! 👑 @johnlinekermma see you soon"

Though his first fight with Lineker may have ended in disappointing fashion, Andrade’s performance still left fans impressed. On that occasion, he was able to back up everything that he had said in the build-up, something he will need to do again on February 24.
