Fabricio Andrade will be on the hunt for another knockout to retain his ONE bantamweight MMA world championship come ONE 170.
That said, the Brazilian fighter believes he cannot just go guns blazing as he did when he first crossed paths with his upcoming challenger 'Pretty Boy' Kwon Won Il, inside the sold-out Impact Arena on January 24.
'Wonder Boy' ran through the South Korean athlete with a picturesque liver kick just over a minute into their showdown at ONE 158 in Singapore.
Kwon, of course, has been in the form of his life since. The 29-year-old assembled a three-match winning run — while maintaining his 100 percent finishing rate in the promotion — to earn the chance at redemption and ONE gold this week.

Sensing that the challenger will bring something different into this fight, the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai star reckons he'll need to rely on his refined grappling base before taking things back into his domain.
Fabricio Andrade told Sportskeeda MMA ahead of fight night in Bangkok, Thailand:
"I believe it won't be easy to knock him out again. But that is why I intend to show my grappling in this fight. I think I will have to rely on that before going back for the knockout."
The Brazilian is undefeated in seven MMA fights in ONE Championship. Five of his wins have come by knockout, including a show-stopping performance to claim the 26 pounds of gold from John Lineker in February 2023.
Fabricio Andrade says his mind is unshaken by Kwon's trash talk ahead of fight night
Kwon Won Il has not wasted time getting into the divisional king's head as he gears up for a life-changing moment at ONE 170.
None of that appears to have worked, unfortunately.
In a separate interview with the promotion, Fabricio Andrade shared:
"He's a guy who likes to talk a lot, who likes to provoke. That was something he did in our first fight, and I'm expecting him to do it again. But I'm mentally prepared for it."
ONE 170 will be available to fight fans at watch.onefc.com this Friday, January 24. The card will be topped by three world title contests.
