Brazilian martial artist Fabricio Andrade won't let his past success cloud his vision for his eagerly awaited rematch against 'Pretty Boy' Kwon Won Il inside the Impact Arena on Jan. 24.
'Wonder Boy' defends his ONE bantamweight MMA world championship for the first time against his old nemesis in the co-main event of ONE 170.
Despite already sending the South Korean to the shadow realm once — a 62-second KO at ONE 158 in June 2022 — he believes Kwon will put up a better challenge when they run it back in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fabricio Andrade told ONE Championship:
"He showed improvement in all areas and showed that he is an athlete who cannot be underestimated. I need to be careful in this fight."
Case in point, 'Pretty Boy' has steamrolled his way to three impressive highlight-reel wins since that fateful night inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The Extreme Combat and P-Boy MMA martial artist flattened Filipino warrior Mark Abelardo with his concussive punching power before using the same tools to dispel Artem Belakh and Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg.
As a reward for his efforts, Kwon earned himself a shot at the 26 pounds of gold and a chance to avenge his loss to Andrade.
The No.3-ranked contender hopes to make the most of that opportunity to become only the second South Korean after Ok Rae Yoon to taste MMA world championship success in ONE Championship.
Fabricio Andrade shouldn't face an uphill task in Kwon Won Il redo
As impressive as Kwon may be, this one has another Fabricio Andrade knockout written all over it.
The Brazilian's ability to pick the best shots will prove to be crucial once more.
'Pretty Boy's eagerness to swing will provide the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai star plenty of openings.
And it wouldn't take him long to pick his foe apart, before going in for the kill to continue his reign atop the bantamweight MMA division .
