Rising star Fabricio Andrade firmly believes he'll be crowned bantamweight king following the conclusion of ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. In fact, he doesn't see John Lineker having a chance unless something extraordinary occurs.

'Wonder Boy' nearly attained the world title in his first meeting with Lineker last October, but an unintentional groin strike halted his dreams. Now, he gets another opportunity against 'Hands of Stone' for the vacant bantamweight world title.

Fabricio Andrade told ONE Championship that Lineker can't beat him unless something unforeseen happens. He stated:

“His chance of winning this fight is if something extraordinary happens. But we know that I’m the best athlete, that this is my moment, and that I’m going to be the champion.”

The Brazilian phenom was in control throughout his first bout with Lineker, even forcing the former champ to shoot for takedowns. It's clear that Andrade thinks he'll get his hand raised in the rematch.

ONE Fight Night 7 is live and free on Prime Video.

Fabricio Andrade believes previous weight miss will weigh heavily on John Lineker in rematch

Lineker missed weight in the lead-up to his first bout against Andrade, resulting in the belt being stripped from him.

Andrade believes 'Hands of Stone' will be better prepared on the scales ahead of ONE Fight Night 7. He told ONE:

“[Lineker] will definitely be more attentive with this weight issue. Nobody likes to be on time and not make weight. No one wants to look unprofessional. So, I believe he will be aware of his weight so that it doesn’t happen again.”

Unfortunately, Lineker has struggled to make weight throughout his career. Over the course of his 45 pro fights, he has missed weight on six different occasions.

He must put forth added attention to ensuring he makes weight this time around, while also preparing for the massive threat that is 'Wonder Boy'. The 25-year-old has been dominant since signing with ONE Championship in 2020.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 to watch Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker battle it out for the vacant bantamweight world title, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The entire event will be aired live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
