ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade believes challenger 'Pretty Boy' Kwon Won Il is biting more than he can chew ahead of their heated rematch at ONE 170.
Inside the Impact Arena on Jan. 24, the Brazilian martial artist puts his 26 pounds of gold on the line for the first time against the No.3-ranked challenger, who's been enjoying a field day online ahead of their redo.
The South Korean claims that he will be the man to bring an end to Andrade's time at the top. After his third successive finish against Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg, the Extreme Combat and P-Boy MMA did not have nice things to say to the defending king.

While his words may have been delivered to hurt Andrade's mental state ahead of their tie, the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai exponent isn't one bit shaken by 'Pretty Boy's big talk.
Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, Fabricio Andrade took the opportunity to remind the South Korean not to forget history.
The 27-year-old shared:
"Remember, I already knocked you out one time. You should be worried about the fight instead of talking s**t on the internet. Like I said, I've already put him to sleep once, and I'm coming to do that again. So he better worry about the training camp and not talking s**t on the internet."
In their first encounter, 'Wonder Boy' sent Kwon crashing to the canvas with a brutal liver kick inside 62 seconds at ONE 158 to book his shot at then-kingpin John Lineker.
Andrade claimed the gold from 'Hands of Stone' in their second outing in February 2023 with an end-of-round TKO win after their first contest in October 2022 ended due to an unintentional low blow.
Fabricio Andrade vows to make Kwon Won Il pay for his trash talk
Despite Kwon Won Il's career resurgence, Fabricio Andrade remains sure that he'll have his foe's number once more inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 24.
Though he concedes putting Kwon away early like he did in their first fight will be a tall order, 'Wonder Boy' expects to get his hand raised with a moment of brilliance deeper into the contest.
In the same interview, he added:
"I want to see how it goes, and I'm very confident I'll eventually find a hole and finish the fight later on."
