Fabricio Andrade successfully defended his ONE bantamweight MMA world title against the challenge of number three-ranked divisional contender Kwon Won Il in their rematch at ONE 170 last Friday inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The reigning divisional king needed only 42 seconds to beat his South Korean rival for the second time and folded him with a vicious punch to the body. It was the second time that Andrade finished Kwon with a body shot.
Following this outstanding performance, 'Wonder Boy' was asked by Mitch Chilson who he wanted to face next, and he immediately blurted out a name during his in-Circle post-fight interview.

Andrade named the No. 2-ranked contender Stephen Loman as his next potential opponent for his crown, stating:
"I was meant to fight Loman last time, so if ONE Championship wants me to do that, I will do it. But it's up to ONE Championship and Chatri."
This latest victory by the Brazilian knockout artist has improved his record under the world's largest martial arts organization to seven wins and one loss.
Additionally, it marked his return to the win column after his loss to Jonathan Haggerty in Nov. 2023 in their ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship.
