UFC fighters are the nucleus of attention and fans regularly respond to their posts on social media. A veteran of the promotion posted a video on his Instagram attracting a host of different reactions from fighters and fans alike.
Former champion T.J. Dillashaw was seen motivating people to work hard and make 2025 count in the clip. While claiming not to "sugarcoat" anything, the 38-year-old American addressed his fans and asked them to leave behind the preceding year.
With the holidays over, it's the perfect time to start and prepare for 2025, according to Dillashaw:
"Let's go, fuel your wild baby. I ain't gonna sugarcoat it, get above your a*s, get to work. Holidays are done, 2024 is just about behind us, make 2025 your year."

The former UFC bantamweight champ replied:
"already did."
T.J. Dillashaw made his professional MMA debut in 2010 and hung up his gloves in 2022 after suffering a serious injury to one of his shoulders.
He last fought against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 280 for the bantamweight title and lost by a second-round TKO.
When T.J. Dillashaw reflected on his career-ending injury in the UFC
T.J. Dillashaw fought for over a decade as a professional mixed martial artist. He had a decorated career in which he competed in multiple fight promotions.
Dillashaw reigned as the bantamweight champion of the elite MMA organization, the UFC. However, the American was forced out of the octagon due to an injury, which he reflected on during an appearance on the JAXXON Podcast:
"I can’t even raise my arm up in the air yet...I don’t even know if my shoulder is ever going to be the same again. It’s f*cking depressing."
He added:
"As a competitor, you have to be delusionally optimistic, but that’s also what got me in this position, too. It’s just gotten worse and worse from each surgery."

The former two-time bantamweight champion injured his left shoulder prior to his fight against Aljamain Sterling in 2022. He struggled to lift his arm and was eventually forced to call it a day.
Dillashaw retired with an impressive record of 17-5, including two title runs in the UFC.
