MMA fans have been reacting to Umar Nurmagomedov's recent interview where he stated that his favorite drink is water and his favorite color is white.
MMA journalist Alex Behunin regularly interviews UFC fighters prior to events and shares multiple tweets about the interview. The series is called 'Humanizing Athletes' and Behunin asks a variety of questions to give fans an insight into the lives of their favorite fighters.
This week's guest was Umar Nurmagomedov, who is set to face Raoni Barcelos in a bantamweight clash at UFC Vegas 67 this weekend. During the interview, Nurmagomedov said:

Favourite color: "White"
MMA fans have been reacting to the 26-year-old's answers and have been fairly amused at some of the information they've learned. One fan joked that choosing water and the color white really does suggest that the Russian fighter is a "killer":
"Water n the color white. Lmao this guy really is a killer"
Another fan found it amusing that Nurmagomedov did not choose any of his professional fights (15-0) as his favorite:
"Favourite of your own fights: so far none"
Twitter user @Muhamm1700 found the simplicity of the 26-year-old's answers a breath of fresh air:
"Simple and modest man, something very unusual and almost lost in the western world"

Umar Nurmagomedov gives update on cousin Khabib's decision to step away from MMA coaching
Khabib Nurmagomedov is widely considered to be one of the greatest fighters to ever step into the UFC octagon. 'The Eagle' retired in 2020 as the lightweight champion as well as boasting a stunning undefeated 29-0 record.
With his decision to hang up his gloves a shock to some, Nurmagomedov proved he wasn't done with MMA right away as he transitioned into coaching at the American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) alongside award-winning coach Javier Mendez.
Since Nurmagomedov's switch to coaching, he has overseen Islam Makhachev's rise to the very top of the UFC's lightweight division as well as Usman Nurmagomedov becoming Bellator's 155lbs champ.
Despite the success, the 34-year-old shared a cryptic post on Instagram last week that suggested he is now stepping away from coaching. Thankfully, his cousin Umar Nurmagomedov was there to give fans an update on the situation:
"We will still train. We will be training together when in Dagestan. Nothing changes like that, we're brothers... I don't think he can stop, he will still control me and my brother, some other guys, but not the same [way]. He doesn't want to travel, doesn't want to come to camps and stay with us for a couple of months... That's why he make the decision, I'm happy for him."
