The 'Elden Ring' video game is notoriously difficult, so it seems that Johnson's celebration was warranted. Another fan, @ghidfg, claimed 'Mighty Mouse' stated that beating renowned Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon was easier than defeating the Fire Giant, a different boss in 'Elden Ring'.
Johnson's MMA skills are astounding, and he is regarded by Joe Rogan, among others, as the greatest MMA fighter of all time. 'Mighty Mouse' recorded 11 consecutive UFC title defenses – the most in promotional history – multiple Fighter of the Year awards, as well as a title win in ONE Championship more recently.
Demetrious Johnson reveals shockingly low UFC pay despite being champion
Demetrious Johnson recently shed light on his pay structure within the UFC during his tenure with the promotion.
Despite being the most successful champion of all time, 'Mighty Mouse' stated that he didn't receive earnings from any pay-per-view points. Champions usually earn a percentage of the total pay-per-view sales, which could see earnings grow exponentially.
During a recent video on Johnson's YouTube channel, he stated:
"Then when I fought Joseph Benavidez, I think it was $30,000 and $30,000. Then I finally got a new contract as champion, and I think it was $125,000 and $50,000, but I couldn’t get pay-per-view points. That’s where a champion makes the most bang for their buck, the pay-per-view points. Because if you get on a card with Conor McGregor and he does 2.1 million buys, you just do the f****** math. You’re going to make a s***load of money. I never got the opportunity to do that."
