An Instagram user expressed his thoughts on the hilarity of the situation, saying:
"Drinking on the job. 🤣"
Another user opined that although McGregor still has a competitive fire in him, excessive alcohol consumption is going to hamper his ability as a fighter:
"Conor still has the desire to compete. But living that good life and drinking that whiskey every day will take its toll on a fighter."
A concerned Conor McGregor fan appealed to the fighter to stop drinking, reasoning that the Irishman was an overall better fighter without alcohol in his system. While one admirer warned McGregor that Michael Chandler would destroy him in their fight if he didn't slow down on alcohol.
Conor McGregor predicts he is going to "slice through" Michael Chandler in their fight
Later this year, TUF 31 coaches Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are scheduled to go head-to-head in the octagon, and 'The Notorious' believes that he is going to get a win over the American.
In McGregor's own words, he is "too slicey" for the former Bellator champion. Speaking to his own media organization, TheMacLife on the TUF set, the 34-year-old proclaimed that he is a much different fighter than anyone 'Iron' has faced:
"I think I'm just going to slice through him. I think I'm a little too slicey for him than anyone else he has fought. A little too snappy and whippy and I think I'll slice through him."
