UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently had tech-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg on The Joe Rogan Experience. The episode made huge waves online as several clips from their conversation have been going viral on social media.
One such clip that has been doing the rounds on the internet features Rogan criticising the current state of mainstream media in the United States. Rogan opined how some individuals in mainstream media are not necessarily educated about the issues they are reporting on.
"You have to actually be interested in what you're talking about. That's another thing that they are at a huge disadvantage of and mainstream media is like, they'r just doing that because thats their job. They probably don't even know a lot about climate change. They probably don't really understand what SpaceX is trying to accomplish. They're just reporting on it... It's a terrible format. The problem is, they get locked into that format and no one trusts them. And then they leave and I go, 'Yeah, but you were just lying to us about this, that and the other thing and now I'm supposed to believe you're one of the good guys. You're one of the straight shooters now.'"
