Fans reacted to Muhammad Mokaev confirming his earnings while competing under the Brave CF umbrella. Despite being a highly touted undefeated prospect, Mokaev was released by the UFC earlier this year due to professional disagreements. Mokaev, who started his professional MMA career with Bahrain-based Brave CF, re-signed with the organization but has expressed interest in returning to the UFC.

At the Brave CF 91 event on Dec. 13, Mokaev returned to competition, winning a short-notice bout against Joevincent So after his original opponent, Luthando Biko, had to withdraw. Speaking to the media after the event, the 24-year-old declared himself the "best flyweight in the world."

"[So many opponents pulling out] shows why I am the best flyweight in the world. So many people called me out on paper, but it's all different in the real life."

When asked if the rumors about him being paid three times more than the UFC were true, the Russian-born fighter confirmed:

Mokaev improved his undefeated professional MMA record to 14-0-1NC with his latest win. The first-round submission win over So also marked Mokaev's first professional MMA outing since he defeated Manel Kape at UFC 304 in his final appearance in the UFC.

Before returning to MMA, he participated in a grappling contest in the main event of ADXC 6 on Oct. 25. Although he lost the contest by a split decision, Mokaev stated that he received $15,000 for his participation. UFC CEO Dana White, in his statement, had claimed that Mokaev's own actions led to his release from the promotion.
