Alex Pereira capped off UFC 303 with a thunderous knockout of Jiří Procházka, who he flatlined with a head kick in round two. In honor of the stoppage, Joe Rogan took to Instagram to share a clip of said knockout from three different camera angles.
The bout was contested for the Brazilian's UFC light heavyweight belt, which he defended for the second time with his finish of Procházka. It was among 'Poatan's' most impressive performances inside the octagon—in fact, it may very well be his most impressive performance to date.

He has now been on a stellar run of form, having beaten five different UFC champions in just 9 fights in the promotion. Where he goes from here is up to him, as the MMA world is now his oyster. Among the directions he can take is defending his title against Magomed Ankalaev.
Ankalaev is the only light heavyweight in the top five who has either not yet lost to Pereira or is coming off a loss regardless. Moreover, he can also pursue a rematch with Israel Adesanya, especially if the latter eventually commits to a move up to the light heavyweight division.
Though not everything in Pereira's future is at 205 pounds. After his knockout of Jamahal Hill, 'Poatan' expressed an interest in pursuing a heavyweight bout to become the first three-division champion in UFC history. Following his domination of Procházka, fan interest in seeing him at heavyweight is at an all-time high.
It is now up to the promotion to decide whether to match him up with either Jon Jones or Tom Aspinall for the undisputed or interim heavyweight belt, depending on whether both men emerge victorious from their upcoming bouts.
