Fans are praising Allycia Hellen Rodrigues for her performance against Janet Todd at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.
There were concerns about how Rodrigues would perform after being away for nearly three years. In the first two rounds, the Brazilian started slow before taking over and securing a unanimous decision win. The reigning atomweight Muay Thai world champion silenced the doubters and proved she’s one of the best female strikers on the ONE roster.
ONE posted some highlights of Rodrigues’ win on Instagram, and fans filled the comment section to support the undisputed champion, including some saying:
“2nd Mum champ in one. 🙌🔥❤️ Beating stamp and then Janet Todd! It’s 4:49 Nigerian time. Stayed up watching all the fights.”

Allycia Hellen Rodrigues credits her corner for win against Janet Todd
Allycia Hellen Rodrigues seemed she couldn’t get going in the ONE Fight Night 8 co-main event. Whether ring rust or Janet Todd’s aggressiveness played a factor, the fight was slowly slipping away from Rodrigues before she turned the momentum and emerged victorious.
During her post-fight interview, Rodrigues had this to say about her corner being a massive factor:
