ONE Championship icon Aung La N Sang returns to the circle this Friday night at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. Getting back into the win column in his last appearance at ONE 163, ‘The Burmese Python’ will look to keep his momentum going against the returning Gilberto Galvao.

Aung La N Sang is always looking to become a better fighter

Aung La N Sang knows what it takes to make it to the top. In fact, he’s done it twice, capturing the ONE middleweight and light heavyweight world championships.

In recent years, ‘The Burmese Python’ has struggled to stay in the win column, relinquishing both of his world titles in back-to-back fights with ‘The Dutch Knight’ Reinier de Ridder.

Aung La hopes his win over Okami to close out his 2022 is a sign of the tide changing, but Aung La knows it’s going to take a lot of effort on his end to sustain that momentum.

In an interview with ONE Championship, ‘The Burmese Python’ shared his thoughts on evolving as a fighter and conquering his weaknesses:

“To become the best version of myself – and knowing that the best version of myself on any given day can beat anybody in the world – is what excites me and what motivates me to get better and to work on my weaknesses. And everybody has weaknesses. There’s no fighter that has no weaknesses. So for me, it’s something to make me a better fighter.”

ONE Fight Night 6 will be broadcast live and free in North America with Amazon Prime.
