Belal Muhammad had fans speculating after he posted a picture to his Instagram account with London, United Kingdom, as the location.
The welterweight contender was clearly not in London because of the weather and setting indicating otherwise, but fans understood the meaning of the post. With UFC 286 in London fast approaching, the promotion will need a definitive timetable for Kamaru Usman's injury as welterweight champion Leon Edwards is likely to defend his title in the main event.
If Usman is forced to withdraw from the planned trilogy bout, the promotion could offer Muhammad a title shot instead. Fans reacted to the post by coming to the conclusion that he would know more than what's being reported:

Despite the comments being mostly supportive of 'Remember The Name' possibly earning him a long-awaited title shot, there were fans who trolled him for clearly not being in London:

"That's not London my brother" - @mos_food_table {Instagram}

It remains to be seen whether Belal Muhammad will earn a title shot as a result of 'The Nigerian Nightmare' not being medically cleared in time for UFC 286.
Belal Muhammad is on an impressive winning streak
Belal Muhammad has been on quite an impressive run in the UFC welterweight division.
'Remember The Name' is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak dating back to 2019. During the impressive winning streak, he has wins against the likes of Demian Maia, Stephen Thompson, Vicente Luque, and Sean Brady. Based on his most recent performances, he has proved to be deserving of a title shot.
The No.4-ranked UFC welterweight also has a history with reigning welterweight champion Leon Edwards. The two fought in the main event of UFC Fight Night 187, but the fight was ruled a no-contest because Muhammad was unable to continue following an accidental eye poke at 0:18 in the second round.
