No one could’ve anticipated that the close fight between Stamp Fairtex and ‘Supergirl’ Anna Jaroonsak would still be up for debate a few days later.
Originally, the two Thai natives were slated to fight different opponents ahead of the event. Due to some scheduling changes on the fight card, both women ultimately agreed to a kickboxing showdown at strawweight on short notice.
As fans would agree, 19-year-old ‘Supergirl’ Anna Jaroonsak brought her A-game despite going against one of the biggest names at ONE Championship. She started strong, opening the round with an onslaught of strikes and forward pressure.

Stamp, on the other hand, clearly had a size disadvantage. She was the smaller fighter both in height and weight, so strategically, she remained on the backfoot the entire fight. But despite being smaller, it didn't affect her punching power.
After three rounds of valiant action, two judges ruled in favor of Stamp Fairtex, awarding her the win via a close split decision. While some fans shared in her happiness at winning a performance bonus, others believed 'Supergirl' was the busier fighter.
Here’s how they scored the fight:
“2-1 supergirl all day. I love Stamp but I think she clearly lost that fight, not a robbery but supergirl was the clear winner.”
“Stamp fought up and landed cleaner harder shots. Close, close fight.”
“Good fight. I was very surprised by how good Supergirl fought on short notice.”
“Was rooting for Stamp at the beginning, but I have to admit I was sure Anna won at the end of it all.”
“@supergirl_jaroonsakgym Won that! Great fight 🔥”
‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak shows no ill-will to Stamp Fairtex following split-decision loss
Despite being at the other end of a controversial split-decision, ‘Supergirl’ Anna Jaroonsak has taken the loss with class.
Having had experience with controversial decisions in the past, the Thai native understands how uncomfortable it is for the winner to feel like the judges may have got it wrong.
Prior to facing Stamp, ‘Supergirl’ was originally scheduled to rematch former rival Ekaterina Vandaryeva. Similarly, the 19-year-old prospect received a lot of vitriol on social media after she won by split-decision back in January 2022.
Keeping that in mind, she remains humble in the face of adversity. Plus, it’s not every day that a young fighter like Jaroonsak gets the opportunity to touch gloves with one of her idols.
In an Instagram post, she wrote:
“I think this is the greatest fight for me since I have been fighting! What the result was? I thought everyone has known already. We just respect for the judges 🙏 Anyway I’m so proud of myself and be honored to fight with the former World Muaythai & Kickboxing Champion🔥🔥🔥.”
