Fans react to Fabricio Andrade - John Lineker’s controversial fight ending at ONE on Prime Video 3

Fans couldn’t have predicted a more controversial ending to an epic championship fight between John Lineker vs. Fabricio Andrade at ONE on Prime Video 3.

The main event this past weekend started off just as promised, with both warriors exchanging knockout blows right from the onset. However, things took a turn for the worse when Andrade unintentionally caught Lineker below the belt line with a knee to the groin in the third round.

As per MMA protocols, ‘Hands of Stone’ was given five minutes to recover, but it became apparent that the damage was irreversible. Lineker said he couldn’t continue, claiming a broken groin cup as a result of the knee. The fight was ruled a no-contest, with both parties returning home empty-handed.

Fans were shocked by the ill-fated finish to the match as they were left without a conclusive winner. Many took to Twitter and Instagram to express their frustrations, demanding an instant rematch while at the same time accusing Lineker of taking the easy way out.

Fabricio Andrade was on the verge of success had it not been for the ill-fated knee to the groin. Fans have no doubt Fabricio Andrade will return again to put an end to his feud with Lineker in a rematch.
