Christian Lee has fans who love him and fans who hate him, based on a recent Instagram promo by ONE Championship.
‘The Warrior’ is a homegrown talent who has fought all 20 of his professional MMA fights with ONE. Over the years, Lee has had ups and downs, but regaining the lightweight world title in his last fight against Ok Rae Yoon showed his ability to bounce back as a champion.
ONE Championship posted a promo of Lee’s contrasting reactions to winning his first world title compared to his first world title loss, with the caption saying:
“Christian Lee looks to secure a SECOND World Title when he challenges welterweight king Kiamrian Abbasov on November 18 at ONE on Prime Video 4! @christianleemma”

ONE Championship highlighted Lee overcoming adversity to regain the lightweight title, among other things, as well as his reaction to losing to Ok. Fans offered contrasting messages, with some comments saying:
“Champ Champ SZN🔥"
“He’s going to have a hard time now with better fighters coming in.”
“Lee's last fight he looked LEVELS above Ok Rae Yoon”
“@saygid_izagakhmaev will smash this crybaby.”
"Lee gonna sleep if he encounters Abbasov😂”
"Double champ time 🔥”
Regardless of fans’ opinions, Lee has proven to be a tough matchup for anyone.
‘The Warrior’ now has an opportunity to become a two-division champion at ONE on Prime Video 4. The lightweight world champion is taking on Kiamrian Abbasov, a force to be reckoned with at welterweight.

Christian Lee skipped time off to chase his dream of becoming a two-division world champion
Christian Lee last fought against Ok Rae Yoon at ONE 160 in August. Most world champions would take time off after a title fight training camp, but Lee is cut from a different cloth.
‘The Warrior’ was offered to fight for the welterweight title three months after fighting Ok, and the lightweight world champion accepted. While speaking with ONE Championship, he had this to say:
“Well, initially, after claiming my title back, it sounded really nice to take some time off. But an opportunity like this is really just too big of a moment to let it just pass me by. And fighting for a second world title, and a second weight division has always been a dream of mine since I started this sport.”
Lee is arguably ONE Championship’s biggest homegrown superstar. With a win at ONE on Prime Video 4, the lightweight champion could skyrocket his value, but it won’t be easy.
Kiamrian Abbasov lost his opportunity to become a two-division champion last fight, and he’s coming back extra motivated to defend the welterweight title. Only time will tell if ‘The Warrior’ can become the fourth two-division MMA world champion for ONE.
