It's safe to say that you should be on the bad end of ONE atomweight kickboxing champion Janet Todd's roundhouse kick to the body. It's really not good for your health. Just look at how she quite literally kicked the wind out of Anne Line Hogtsad nearly two years ago..

The bout took place at ONE on TNT 2 in April 2021. The liver kick 'JT' unleashed on Hogstad's mid-section is one of the cleanest, most technical kicks you'll ever see:

"Chopped liver, anyone? 🦵 @jmcoakle"

Todd snuck in a quick left roundhouse kick to the body off a jab. Hogstad might have been anticipating a right hand after the jab. Instead, she was hit with a body kick that knocked the wind out of her, ending the bout instantly.

Fans have been raving about this bodyshot knockout in the comments. Here are some of the notable ones:

@limktg_7132 explain to us what a liver shot does:

"Liver kick shutdowns the body! Best of luck J.T. #AndNEW 🇺🇸🥊🏆"

@Insecure.wmn and @hansshowdown are having painful flashbacks:

"Ouhh..Deadly left foot side kick. I've felt it before.😮🙌"

@cyexl alludes to the audible sound Hogstad made after receiving that kick:

"Ouch... That sound of receiving that kick unblocked 😬😬😬"

Needless to say, if and when Janet Todd connects with the same kick on her opponent, Allycia Hellen-Rodrigues, in their upcoming world title unification bout, she might just get the same exact result.

Janet Todd vies for second world title by challenging Allycia Hellen-Rodrigues for ONE atomweight Muay thai belt

After soundly winning the ONE interim atomweight Muay Thai world title against ONE newcomer, Lara Fernandez, Janet Todd earned a chance to make history.

Holding the ONE atomweight kickboxing world title and now the interim ONE atomweight Muay Thai belt, Todd is now slated to face reigning ONE atomweight Muay Thai queen, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues. This will be the American's first attempt at becoming an undisputed world champion in two different combat sports.

The two will face each other for the belt at ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24. Rodrigues has been out of action for over two years since focusing on becoming a mother in 2021. She was last seen in action taking the belt from Stamp Fairtex in 2020, winning via a majority decision. Hence, ONE Championship put together an interim Muay Thai world title in her absence, which Todd soundly won.

The two world champions were originally supposed to fight late last year, but Todd was pulled out due to COVID-19. With both fighters cleared and healthy to fight, we can finally see them settle the score and provide a conclusion to the long-standing ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title saga.
