Since his arrival in ONE Championship just over a year ago, Jarred Brooks has shown himself to be one of the top grapplers in the promotion.
With his wrestling background, ‘The Monkey God’ has been able to dominate the vast majority of his time spent inside the circle. Riding a four-fight win streak since signing with ONE, Brooks recently became the ONE strawweight world champion by defeating Joshua Pacio at ONE 164.
In a recent Instagram post, ONE Championship put the old saying, “Strength in numbers,” to the test, showing Brooks being taken down by a classroom full of kids.

After debuting in ONE Championship in 2021, Jarred Brooks had the best year of his career in 2022. Winning three bouts, Brooks went all the way to the top, becoming the ONE strawweight world champion at the last event of 2022,
At ONE 164, ‘The Monkey God’ achieved his dream of becoming a world champion when he defeated Joshua Pacio via unanimous decision.
In a recent Instagram post, the American reflected on this recent chapter of his career. After a year that brought lots of success and fortune, this is what Jarred Brooks had to say about his 2022:
"What an amazing year ! 2023 is going to bring more hardships , more money, and more happiness . I got a world title this year but I lost so much in the process . In 2022 I worked hard for a few months and I got to where I needed to be."
The American wrestler continued:
"Anything is possible with work ethic ,the right mindset, and having people you can trust around you. Thank you so much life for this wonderful year and looking forward to spending another year with you! HAPPY NEW YEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS!"
