Jarred Brooks speaks on his mentality towards his opponents
Brooks enjoys playing mind games with his opponents, talking some trash, and usually backing it up in the cage. He spoke to MMA Sucka about his mentality towards his opponents, saying:
“I appreciate all who support me even though I act like a dick. I know my personal fans, just know that’s just part of my personality and if a wolf was in front of you barking and trying to kill you, I promise you I’ll bark back or try to display some dominance. That’s what I’m doing against my opponents.”
Since joining ONE Championship in 2021, Brooks has rattled off four straight victories over Lito Adiwang, Hiroba Minowa, Bokang Masunyane, and the aforementioned Pacio.
Prior to that, the 29-year-old competed in various organizations all over the world, amassing a 16-2 record with one no-contest.
