ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama is a proud warrior and does not take affronts lightly.
The Thai superstar proved that once again in his last fight in January when he sent crashing Russian challenger Alaverdi Ramazanov, who taunted him during the weigh-ins.
While he stayed calm during the pre-event ceremonies, Nong-O Hama made sure to send a message that he did not appreciate what Ramazanov did.
The reigning champion hammered the Russian with powerful blows during their ONE Friday Fights 1 title showdown en route to a knockout win in the third round.

Nong-O Hama returns to defend his title once again on April 21 at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video at the famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok against British challenger Jonathan ‘The General’ Haggerty.
It will be the eighth defense for the Thai juggernaut since becoming champion in 2019. Jonathan Haggerty, the former flyweight Muay Thai king, for his part, is looking to become a two-division world champion.
ONE Fight Night 9 will be aired live and for free to all North American fans with an active Prime Video subscription.
Nong-O Hama reveals he’s had an eye on Jonathan Haggerty for "a long time"
Reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama has been keenly eyeing Jonathan Haggerty on his ONE Championship journey for a long time now and is excited to test him in their title showdown next month.
The two top fighters will headline ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video on April 21 at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Nong-O Hama said Jonathan Haggerty has the skills and technique and he expects their title clash to be a barnburner:
“I’ve been watching Haggerty for a long time now, going back to his world title fights against Rodtang. He’s very skilled and uses many different Muay Thai techniques.”
‘The General’, the former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, lost to Rodtang in their two world championship bouts but was very competitive on both occasions.
The fight, meanwhile, will be Nong-O’s second title defense this year after dispatching Russian Alaverdi Ramazanov last January.
