Unstoppable' Angela Lee and the submission grappling ace Danielle Kelly do not like each other. These two ONE Championship athletes may be on a collision course for a bad-blood showdown later next year.

On Instagram, ONE Championship shared:

"Who wants to see THIS grudge match? 👀 [Angela Lee] [Danielle Kelly]"

Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert Danielle Kelly is undefeated in ONE Championship's submission grappling. While Lee is the ONE women’s atomweight world champion in MMA, she has not stepped into the circle to test her skills in grappling alone.

ONE Championship fans shared their thoughts in the comments section of this post. Muay Thai fighter Marco Matias explained that Lee does not want the fight:

"She ain’t want that smoke with Danielle"

ONE Championship fan Neil Lim added that this might not be a close one:

"Danielle Kelly by a mile. 🔥"

Another MMA follower said that he likes the fight but admits it doesn't make sense for Lee:

"Fun match for sure but it doesn’t make sense for Angela. She’s got a belt in MMA I doubt she wants to grapple. And I’m sure most people would rather see it in MMA."

Building a grudge between Angela Lee and Danielle Kelly

The bad blood between Angela Lee and Danielle Kelly began earlier this year at the ONE Championship and Amazon Prime Video joint press conference when Kelly was asked about facing Lee in a submission grappling match. The US-born athlete Kelly answered:

“I’m a jiu-jitsu person so I’ve been focusing on legit grapplers. But if they want to give me that match, I’ll take it in a heartbeat.”

The atomweight queen responded with:

“She’s trying to stir up drama saying that… Step into the circle with me, put on your MMA gloves, and let's go.”

Kelly was recently victorious in her submission grappling match at ONE on Prime Video 4. After the fight, she commented on potentially facing 'Unstoppable.' She said that she wants to focus on grappling first, not MMA. Kelly explained:

“For grappling right now, I'm open to any opponent that wants to compete against me for grappling or calling me out. I'm focusing on jiu-jitsu, I want to win the title for ONE, and I'll go from there, and decide if I want to start MMA.”
