In his first appearance at ONE Championship, Soldic envisioned himself finishing the first or second round with a knockout. What happened instead was something the Croatian star never anticipated.
Ramazanov scored an early takedown, which Roberto Soldic promised he wouldn’t be able to do. And to no fault of his own, as Soldic transitioned to his feet, he got caught with an inadvertent knee to the groin which ended the bout almost immediately.
Fans, much like Soldic, are thrilled to see him fully recover from his injury. They wait in anticipation for his return as he gets a second chance to prove why he’s among the best welterweights in the world.

Following Roberto Soldic’s injury, No.1 ranked contender Murad Ramazanov took to Instagram to wish his opponent nothing more than a speedy recovery.
The Eagles MMA representative was visibly upset when he landed the knee. The adrenaline was pumping so fast that in the heat of the moment, he yelled at Soldic for pretending to over-exaggerate his injury.
Understanding that he let his emotions get the better of him, Ramazanov offered Soldic an apology with the following translated message on Instagram:
“This is the first such case in my career, I performed a lot in amateurs, professionals and never broke the rules. I was well prepared, but what happened, already happened. I wish my opponent a speedy recovery, he is a strong fighter, respect to him and his team, but we have to check who is stronger. When everything is ready by the organization @onechampionship , we will definitely make a rematch. Best of luck to everyone.”
