Fans react to Rodtang Jitmuangnon brushing off Joseph Lasiri’s flying knee strike

ONE flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon continues to awe fans each time he competes. That included when he nonchalantly brushed off a flying knee from Joseph Lasiri in his most recent world title defense.

The 25-year-old superstar often makes things look easy inside the circle, which was on full display in his match against the Italian contender last November.

Rodtang hoping to attain world titles in multiple sports before moving up in weight class

The Thai striker has set incredibly high goals for himself, one of which is moving up in weight to challenge bigger opponents.

However, he revealed to ONE that he hopes to attain world titles in kickboxing and MMA prior to moving up, stating:

"Of course, I’d love to. But only after I will have achieved my goals - a world champion in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA. [Then] I will probably move to higher division."

The ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video co-headliner will feature a flyweight kickboxing world title bout between Rodtang and Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Superlek secured the vacant flyweight kickboxing crown in his last appearance, besting Spain's Daniel Puertas via unanimous decision. He's currently riding a four-fight winning streak, with wins over Taiki Naito, Walter Goncalves, Panpayak Jitmuangnon, and the aforementioned Puertas.
