Stamp Fairtex is well known for her arsenal of striking weapons.

Through her reign as the ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion, as well as her ongoing career in MMA, Stamp has showcased her skills time and time again inside the circle.

In her last outing at ONE on Prime Video 2, Stamp rebounded from her loss to Angela Lee at ONE X with a win over Jihin Radzuan. Securing a unanimous decision vicotry, it was Stamp’s elbows that did the talking on this occasion.

After dropping her opponent with a perfectly-timed step-in elbow, she rained down follow-up shots to try and get the finish.

In a recent Instagram post, ONE Championship shared a comparison video of Stamp working on her elbow strikes versus putting them into practice during her last appearance inside the circle.

As one of the promotion’s biggest fan favorite fighters, this is what they had to say about Stamp’s elbow strikes in the comments below the post:

@zeljkovicadam:

“Not gonna be a good night for Anissa”

@archie_uwu_2:

“'I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times' Bruce Lee”

@iamzeedrgn:

“Stamp could beat me up 🔥 and I wouldn't be mad.”

@joshyleblanc:

Stamp Fairtex looking to improve grappling skills in 2023 to prepare for possible rematch with Angela Lee

Already one of the best strikers in all of ONE Championship, Stamp Fairtex knows which area of her game she needs to improve if she is to realize her dream of becoming a world champion in MMA.

By improving her grappling, she would force her opponents to try and deal with her arsenal of striking attacks, which saw her become the first multi-sport world champion in ONE, holding both the Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles.

After coming up short against Angela Lee at ONE X, where she was submitted, Stamp spoke about improving her overall game ahead of a potential rematch with the atomweight champion. She told ONE Championship:

“For sure, I will improve my ground game more and more, with the hope of challenging Angela Lee again.”

After her successful run to win the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix in 2021, Stamp Fairtex earned herself a shot at Lee’s world title. In her toughest MMA test to date, she was nearly able to pull off an upset after hurting her opponent in the first round.

After the Thai star failed to get the finish, the defending world champion was able to recover and make it into the second round, where she took Stamp down and got the submission.

Stamp Fairtex will be back in action on January 13 as she takes part in the first-ever women’s mixed-rules bout at ONE on Prime Video 6.

As the current No.1-ranked atomweight contender, it’s likely just a matter of time before Stamp and Lee cross paths once again.
