It doesn't appear as though fans are too thrilled after the official poster for UFC 287 was unveiled.
There was plenty of negative feedback on Twitter among fans who noted that the poster itself is framed in an odd way that comes off as misleading. The promotion posted a photo of the poster on their Twitter account and fans were quick to react, mostly in a negative way.

The main card will be headlined by the rematch between Israel Adesanya and UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira, and a welterweight clash between Gilbert Burns and 'BMF' title holder Jorge Masvidal. Fans also questioned the promotion for referring to the main event as a grudge match when Pereira has already defeated Adesanda twice in kickboxing and once in MMA, writing:
"With a win, adesanya will be 3-1 against pereira. There is no rivalry here." [@starstruck_mma]

The UFC have high hopes for the event as it also marks their first pay-per-view in Miami, Florida, since 2003, which saw then welterweight champion Matt Hughes retain his title by defeating Sean Sherk in the main event.
Who will be competing at UFC 287?
The UFC have an exciting main card planned for when they return to Miami, Florida. The event will be headlined by a middleweight title fight as champion Alex Pereira makes his first title defense against his longtime rival Israel Adesanya.
Adesanya will look to avenge his losses to Pereira, who has had his number in combat sports. He defeated him twice in kickboxing and once more in MMA, when he defeated him via fifth-round TKO to become the new middleweight champion.
In the co-main event, Miami's own Jorge Masvidal will look to snap his losing skid as he competes takes on Gilbert Burns, who is coming off a dominant submission win over Neil Magny this past January. Other bouts scheduled for the event include Rob Font vs. Adrian Yanez, Kevin Holland vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio, Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Christian Rodriguez.
